How do I if know I am registered?
You, or the person who registered on your behalf, will receive an email confirming your entry.
What if I would prefer to register offline?
Contact East London Mosque to request a paper version of the registration form on 0207 650 3000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If applicable you will be asked to pay your entrance fee by cheque or debit card. We will also put you in contact with the charity of your choice.
What happens if I don’t receive my registration pack in the post?
If you don’t receive your registration pack after registering online please contact: email@example.com and we will send you via email.
Will I receive fun run information in the lead up to the event?
Yes, you will receive an information pack and we will send out an email giving you updates on your fun run and general details to help you get you ready for the day.
Can I get a refund if I can’t take part?
If the charity of your choice is charging you, then you will need to speak to them directly. Unfortunately the ELM will not refund if you are unable to take part.
Who is the Event Organiser?
The East London Mosque is the Event Organiser and is responsible for organising these fun run events.
Can I enter a team?
Absolutely! Get as many friends, family or colleagues together and run as a team. You are not required to run together. Each person will receive their own fun run packs, medals, runner numbers and t-shirts, but it can be fun to fundraise and run under a team name.
How can I make a donation to the charity of my choice?
- Donate through the charity’s website
- Donate directly to the fun run online fundraising page by visiting the charity’s JustGiving or other fundraising platform page
- Make a personal donation by visiting the charity’s offices
Can I register on the day of the event?
We advise that you register as soon as possible so that we can issue you the free t-shirt and runner number. This will be stated on the website prior to the event. However, you should arrive at least an hour before the start of the event.
What happens if I don’t receive my registration confirmation by email?
If you don’t receive your confirmation email it may be because the wrong email address was provided or the email landed in your junk mail, so please check carefully. If you still can’t find it please email firstname.lastname@example.org
When do I receive my fun run information pack?
You will receive your fun run information pack within two weeks of registering for the event. Your charity of choice may also send you information related to the cause you are fundraising for.
How much does it cost to take part?
The ELM we will charge charities £20 per person so you don’t have to worry about paying anything to us. All you need to do is register stating which charity you are raising funds for and we’ll put you in touch with the person responsible from the charity. If the charity of your choice decides to charge you a fee, then it is up to them to do so.
Can children take part?
Yes, this is a family event and we are happy for children to take part. However all children under 12 taking part in the fun run MUST be accompanied by an adult. This is male only event; there will be other events for women, but all are welcome on the day as we will have stalls and children rides.
What other activities will be available on the day?
This is a family event, all are welcome on the day. We will have children rides e.g bouncy castles as well as food and information stalls especially related to health.
How can I fundraise online?
We advise you to set up a JustGiving page. Most UK registered charities have their own online platform page. For help setting up a ‘Sponsor Me’ fundraising page, send us an email we will be more than happy to do so.
